Welcome to my vision...

My name is Bill Roche and at a young age, I was diagnosed with strabismus or “wandering eye”.  A couple years later, I bought my first camera - a 10¢ pinhole camera that snapped into a 126 film cartridge.  I still remember the Christmas-like anticipation waiting a whole week to get my pictures back.  No 1-hour photo service back then, much less the instant-gratification of digital photography!
Having inherited some of my mother's creative genes, but none of her ability to draw or paint, photography became my creative outlet.  With no darkroom access, the initial challenge for me was always to get the camera to produce the exact image I saw in my mind's eye at the moment I snapped the shutter.  My eye has been wandering ever since; looking for that perfect picture.  This web site represents some of my favorite near misses in this quest.  I hope you enjoy seeing the world through...
